Post Run Smoothie

I like to run. But sometimes it's the reward at the end of the run that gets me through. I love a cool smoothie after working hard and sweating my ass off. {You might recognize this picture if you follow me on Instagram }I bring you a tried and trusted smoothie recipe that I make often:
1 cup coconut water
1/2 cup hemp milk
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop Vanilla Sunwarrior Protein
1 handful spinach
1 tsp spirulina
2 Tbsp flax oil
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1/2-1 Tbsp blackstrap molasses
I like to switch up my milks to get different nutrients/benefits. My favourite is almond milk, but I also drink hemp, rice, coconut, and cashew milks. No cows for me. I also like to switch up my protein powders for the same reason. Sunwarrior is a fave and I also like Vega, Progressive Harmonized, and Genuine Health. The blackstrap molasses is high in B vitamins, iron, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and more! Plus it gives the smoothie a sweet rich taste but because this natural sweetener is low glycemic it won't spike your blood sugar. Have you tried it before?
